The Spare Room Sale

The name 'The Spare Room Sale' is inspired by a lovely little gallery in Sheffield, called the Cupola Gallery. Once a year they hold a sale called 'The Under the Bed Sale' that is open to all artists. Artists like to try out different styles, mediums and themes before they develop their own style. All this work is hard to part with, there is nothing substandard about it, it may just not fit with current ideas. So it just gets put under a bed or in a spare room.
